Collegiate Support
The Morehead Alumnae Association works with the local Delta Omicron chapter of Delta Gamma at Morehead State University. We offer several opportunities for local alumnae to get involved in helping the local chapter with everything from co-sponsored events, to Aunt Hannahs, mid-term and finals baskets, sponsorship assistance and of course recruitment help.
How you can help?
Help with recruitment! This year’s recruitment schedule is in the works and will be posted in the next few weeks. Recruitment is a wonderful time to help the local collegians during a very stressful occasion. Alumnae can help by working the refreshment table during recruitment parties, helping with set up and take down and even by bringing snacks for the collegians to enjoy between parties and during voting.
This year’s co-sponsored event is the Anchor Run 5k which will be held this fall. The anchor run is a 5k walk/run through campus to help raise money for both Service for Sight© and a local Delta Gamma scholarship. Alumnae are asked to participate in this event and help spread the word about this wonderful foundation opportunity.
Get involved in the new member process by being an Aunt Hannah! Aunt Hannah is a way for a local alumna to offer a little help to a new member during their new member process. Aunt Hannahs write notes, give small gifts and are there if their new member needs them.
Sponsor a potential new member! Sponsorship is a very important part of Delta Gamma’s recruitment and sponsorship forms are available at all alumnae events.
